US Manufacturers Hit Record $1.6 Trillion Exports in 2022 as Manufacturing Adds $12 Trillion to Economy

In a record-breaking year, manufacturing across the United States added nearly $12 trillion to the American economy, with total exports amounting to $1.6 trillion in 2022. Exports of both durable goods and nondurable goods surpassed previous highs as manufacturing in America continued its largest growth since the 1970s.
